5Please Read Carefully  May 15, 2009
Many reviews of these FST say that the readings were varied. As a cop myself, many people do not know that you must wait 20 minutes from your last sip or drink to get an accurate reading. So keep that in mind when buying this product. For the most part, a majority of these FST's are accurate, if you use them correctly.

4Excellent service  Mar 04, 2009
I bought this item a year ago. It did stop working after a year, but after contacting the company, they told me to send it in and they fixed it completely for FREE. Great customer service, which in this day and age means a lot.

I would NOT rely on this for an accurate BAC, but only an estimate to know whether you should be driving or not. It seems to vary a lot, but does give you a good estimate of where you are at.

5BreathKey Breathalyzer review  Jan 11, 2009
I ordered this product as a gift to my 22 year old son. Being the age he is, he tends to go out drinking with his friends so I thought it would be a good idea. I researched similar products but I was very particular with what I wanted: small, fits on a keychain, no accessories needed to use, easy to carry on you at all times, etc. Another important feature I wanted was a breathalyzer which would read out down to the 100th number. I didn't want drunk/not drunk nor a .08 reading vs .07, I wanted .071 or .079 as there is a big difference when deciding on having 'just one more'. This is the only product I found with all the features I wanted! Regardless of price! My son has had it now for about a month and loves having it! Not to mention all the other party goers want to use it also which is wonderful! Anything to keep the roads and our kids safer! I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a good breathalyzer!

4Seems good  Nov 17, 2008
It's very small and light. I'm not sure if it's reliable in nonoptimal conditions, e.g. rinsing mouth with water or soft drinks minutes before using it. Nevertheless, it increases confidence on taking a car after drinking.

4I don't know how well this works  Oct 10, 2008
I have nothing to compare this to so I gave it 4 stars because it does work, but it seems expensive for such a little item that is about the same size as a car alarm remote. It is designed to be put on a keychain but there is no way in hell I would do that. Dirt can easily get inside the open holes and screw up the accuracy. This is too expensive for that.

It really should have a small carrying case. The one thing I don't like about it is that you have to put your mouth on the top part of the outercase. There are no protective sleeves. I guess you are just supposed to lug this around in your pocket and then put it in your mouth when you are testing. Then you pass it around to your friends. Gross!

I got this device for personal reasons.

When I first go it, I blew a .000 since I had nothing to drink. Then I rinsed my mouth with Scope, and blew a .200. That is about 2.5 times the legal limit. After about 10 minutes or so it did go down to .000, so I know it works at least.
